Have you ever asked God for a sign? Show me you are there, God! If this is a good idea, show me a sign! Ever been afraid that He would show you a sign and that it would be more than you wanted to know or do? This was Ahaz, but Isaiah wouldn't let him off the hook....
Isaiah had already seen the sign and was responsible for getting word out. Sometimes you get a sign whether you ask for one or not. This was Joseph.
An angel came to Joseph in a dream. He was told what Isaiah had spoken of years ago. He had been prepped through his studying and the teachings at the synagogue. The angel's words rang familiar and true and left him with a definite job to do. It was a big one, too! It required a man who was well respected in the community to face some very uncomfortable situations and to take a long journey that he had not planned to take.
Journeys bring to mind exhausting preparation and planning. Journeys can bring on feelings of anxiety and fear. Anxiety over what may happen on the journey. Fear of the unknown. But journeys can also hold the excitement of new sights and new adventures. Joseph's journey would include both. Mary's journey was better documented and definitely held both excitement, wonder, and fear. But the angel of the Lord was there with them, as the Holy Spirit is with all who accept and believe.
Joseph CHOSE to follow the sign. Mary LIVED and BECAME the sign. Paul was given a sign, as well. His sign called him into ministry of all that had been prophesied. He was called to tell the story that Mary and Joseph had been called to live. He wasn't comfortable with it, but he couldn't deny it. He had to GIVE IN to God.
So, whether you choose to notice, believe and follow the sign faithfully or whether you feel like you have to just stop fighting God and go with his plan, signs are meant to be guides. Like the star that guided the wisemen, they can call you into an adventure that will change your life and the lives of those around you. Don't be afraid to ask!!
My name is Aislinn May Barr. My social security number is 557-61-7514. I live at 598 Kenridge Circle Stone Mountain, Ga. 30083. The county I live in is Delakb Co. Georgia. I need to express my concern as a citizen about the use of telepathy, both mental and kenetic(This telapathy allows a person to mentally and sexually disrespect a person.), being used in an inappropriate manner. I would like for you to be aware of an experimental program that has been implemented by authority in this area utilizing businesses (Kroger, Walmart, Family Dollar, Ingles, Food Depot) and the community to disrespect my family as well as others. The use of telepathy in this experimental fashion is extremely dangerous. People should have no right to violate another human beings intellectual property, private information, or by law be able to express this extracted information to the public. The program has violated every bit of privacy in my life as well as others. I have been incarcerated (with the police given prior information about me)and forced to endure harsh treatment above and beyond the harshness that incarceration has already established. This 'new' program I know was not known throughout the detention center at Rockdale County due to the fact that the psychiatrist (through a monitor, which already is a complete human disconnect) issued prescriptions that caused me to have brain swelling and more emotional trauma then what I was already dealing with. Upon leaving the detention center I attended school at Georgia Perimeter College where I was continuously harassed. There are many more instances, however, I would like to refrain from embellishing on the details as I do not feel that it is fair to incriminate people on the basis of uninformed ignorance.
ReplyDeleteI feel as though this program has no ability to create positive change for humanity. The program lacks respect, love, or the basic understanding of people and their individual levels of growth based on their life experiences. I ask of you to please evaluate this situation with a kind heart, yet implement a plan of action as to establish a ruling as to not allow such a program to create such an uncomfortable environment for anyone by relinquishing their rights as a human being. Telepathy, although through research, is a familiar ability. I feel that this kind of telepathic ability being influenced into our society without the knowledge of health risks, allowing society to use this and the danger to humanity based on individual insecurities and how they will use it, and the security of our nation (we are in an area with a large number of refugees) is the main reasons for this issue to be addressed.
I ask you again to please address this situation with a kind heart. I also must let you know that I refrain from giving any information other then what I feel comfortable with.
I look forward to your concern and handling of this manner with the respect that I believe that it deserves.
